How To Use Crystal Vibrational Healing

By Paul A. BirnieCrystals are a unique part of our life. They are used for manythings, both spiritual and physical. For example, quartz crystals are commonly used in batteryoperated watches to keep time, silicon crystals are grown tomake computer chips. In this article, I am going to explain how you can use crystalsas a healing tool through a technique called crystal vibrationalhealing. Crystals are self-aware living vibrations of the Universe.Crystal vibrational healing is a frequency, a wave form ofenergy sent by someone through a crystal to another participantwhich causes the participant to go back to an energetic state ofwell-being. Many people believe that when an individual needs healing, itis because their body is sick. This is not the case. When itcomes to healing, we have the perception that it is the bodythat receives the healing, when in fact it is the frequency ofthe disease that receives it. Now, the frequency of our belief system is what creates ourstate of beingness, in sickness and in health. When we heal,is the body that is healed? Is it the mind? Is it the emotions? Is it the disease? The truth is that all these aspects ofourselves are extensions and creations of our belief systems. The belief system is what holds the frequency, and the truecreator of ALL this, everything (with no exception!) is YOU!!!We all create our lives, and the circumstances in it, fromthese belief systems. The key therefore is to know that we arethe sole creator of all this. This means that by using crystal vibrational healing onourselves, we can change our thoughts, our emotions and ouractions. The idea many of us have is that we have to removenegative thoughts and feelings. This is not true! What weREALLY need to do is TRANSFORM the thought by feeding itpositive thoughts. For example, feed our anger with peace, feedour hate with love and so on. Once the thought is transformed, the feeling, action andultimate experience is altered, to reflect your now new foundreality, as opposed to your old indoctrinated belief systems. This is the essence of crystal vibrational healing. The question I hope you are asking yourselves now is: how do Iapply this to my everyday life? Let me share with you one wayyou can use the crystal vibrational healing technique to changeany anger you have in your heart into peace. You will first need to hold a crystal that feels good for you,in the centre of your heart. Make sure that you do no not use acrystal that has been chosen just for its meaning. Then, sitting in a quiet place with your eyes closed, allowyourself to feel the emotion of anger ... feel it in your bodyuntil it is at its strongest. Then, send a thought and emotion of peace through the crystalto your heart, and see it spread through your body. Thefrequency of the thought and emotion will be amplified by thecrystal that you are holding and it will transform thefrequency of anger to its well-being state of peace. This is a technique you can use for almost any situation youare in and wish to change. Such is the power of this crystalvibrational healing technique. Free Yourself From Dry Skin Conditions

Xeroderma literally means "dry skin". Symptoms most associated with Xeroderma (dry skin) are scaling, which is the visible peeling of the outer skin layer, itching and cracks in the skin. Xeroderma (dry skin) occurs most commonly on the lower legs, arms, the sides of the abdomen and thighs.Skin consists of loose connective tissue and elastin. Skin also receives less blood flow and lower gland activity. Skin contains the hair follicles, sweat glands, sebaceous glands, apocrine glands and blood vessels. The dermis is the layer of skin beneath the epidermis that consists of connective tissue and cushions the body from stress and strain. The outermost layer of epidermis consists of 25 to 30 layers of dead cells. The epidermis can be further subdivided into the following strata (beginning with the outermost layer): corneum, lucidum (only in feet), granulosum, spinosum, and basale. Serious skin complications, including dry skin, can arise for people with diabetes. The oil glands do not supply enough lubrication to the skin: as a result, the skin becomes dehydrated. Dry skin could also be a sign of an underactive thyroid. Forced-air furnaces make skin even drier.Take baths or showers less often. For any skin condition, it's always better to take a natural approach. Natural treatment should always be the first type of treatment to consider when you want to take the best care of your skin.Consider taking cod liver oil or fish oil supplements every day. Eat high-fiber snacks like raw nuts, raw seeds, and dried fruit, such as dates, and figs. Good skin is often a reflection of a good digestive system. Fatty acids are particularly important to people with dry skin. Use flaxseed oil or walnut oil in your salad. Use bath oils and moisturizers, especially coconut oil, at least daily. Use coconut oil to remove your make-up at night, like I do; it leaves a fine layer of oil to nourish your skin all night long. Also use a thin layer of coconut oil under your make-up to moisturize your skin all day. It just takes motivation, a willingness to try it, and diligent application of coconut oil several times daily and at bedtime to see its benefits. The skin must be regularly cleaned or it'll become cracked or inflamed. Sunlight, water and air play an important role in keeping the skin healthy. The skin is subject to constant attack from without, so can be affected by numerous conditions, diseases and ailments. If you're still worried, or the problems persist, go and see your doctor. Call your doctor or naturopath when you feel itchy all over without a visible rash. Usually, these days, we can take care of dry skin without seeing our doctor, but sometimes we can't avoid it.For more information on coconut oil treatment for dry skin & dry skin care treatments, see Helen Hecker R.N.'s http://www.Best-Skin-Care-Tips.com specializing in care for skin conditions with tips, advice and resources for women, men, teens, babies, including information on best natural products

Hatha Yoga Provides Gentle Exercise To StimulateYour Imune System

The most common form of yoga practiced in the United States ishatha yoga. Hatha yoga differs from other disciplines of yogaas it is more exercise than mental preparation for meditation. All yoga stretches are designed to relax the body on the pathof spiritual enlightenment including meditation; however mostAmericans practice the poses for the fitness benefits. Hatha yoga is a gentle exercise which strengthens the existingmuscles without adding unwanted muscle bulk. People whopractice hatha yoga claim all kinds of homeopathic benefitsfrom illness relief to increased concentration whilemeditating. Hatha Yoga and Illness There is no conclusive scientific evidence that hatha yoga hasany positive or negative health benefits. However, thetechnique is thousands of years old and the people whichpractice the poses and meditation claim a variety of healthbenefits. Hatha yoga is said by some to be able to ease everydiscomfort from bowel problems to head aches. The stretches andposes are said to massage the inner organs balancing the body'schemicals naturally. Even if there is no conclusive evidence supporting the claimsthat hatha yoga does in fact have health benefits beyondphysical exercise, many people who practice yoga have betterself esteem, are more in tune with their bodies needs, and takea more active role in their health by exercising regularly andeating healthy foods. Menstrual Discomfort Many medical facilities are dedicated to women's health alonebecause of a woman's unique anatomy and life changes. Hathayoga is able to promote women's health by providing an outletfor daily exercise which is recommended by most doctors. Alsothe massaging of internal muscles, the poses and stretches arethought to ease menstrual pain or other discomforts associatedwith the menstrual cycle. Pregnancy Some poses of hatha yoga are known to be safe exercises forwomen while pregnant. However, not all poses should bepreformed while pregnant; poses which would require a woman topress on her stomach for instance would not be recommended. Also during the third trimester, only gentle stretches andposes of hatha yoga should be practiced. Any poses which wouldrequire a woman to lie on her back or stand on one foot shouldbe avoided late in pregnancy. There is a reason for each of these points; in the first case, there is a large system of veins that supply blood and oxygento the baby that runs by the spine. The added weight of thebaby on this system of veins can slow blood flow to the babyand deny it oxygen. The other is because during pregnancy, usually sometime in the second trimester, a woman's equilibriumchanges and she may have trouble maintaining her balance whileon one foot.About The Author: Ann Marier writes informative articles aboutfamily life and general health issues, Her lastest are aboutlosing weight with yoga. New Year Resolution - Part 2

By: Tracie Johanson It should come as no surprise that this series of articles will focus on New Year resolutions. After all, many of us look at the start of a New Year as a chance for us to create a new body.More than 80% of Americans made a New Year's resolution in 2005:Health and fitness: 26%Career: 13%Organization and time management: 13%Personal growth: 12%Personal finance: 12%Family and relationships: 8%Education and training: 8%Home improvement and real estate: 4%Recreation and leisure: 4%(Source: myGoals.com)"10 million-plus Americans will pledge to get fit in 2005" said Katie Rollauer of the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association. The dominance of weight loss resolutions led one gym member to suggest that instead of making a New Year resolution, it would be more honest (and funny) to make a New REAR resolution. So how do we go about making a good New Rear resolution? In a recent article we discussed how to draft a SMART goal. Remember that a New Rear resolution (or any goal) must be:a) Specificb) Measureablec) Achievabled) Realistice) Time BoundNow that we've all done our homework and we have our resolution in writing, let's take it one step further and break our goal down by month or even week. You can make your resolution much more manageable if you break it down into smaller pieces. This will make your resolution much less intimidating. For example, if you want to lose 60 pounds this year, that may seem overwhelming to you.But how about setting smaller resolutions. Like losing 10 pounds by the end of February? How about promising to do strength training for the next 2 months every Monday, Wednesday and Friday?Doesn't that resolution sound much more manageable? If you keep setting smaller resolutions for yourself throughout the year, before you know it, you will have succeeded in your big resolution. So, if we haven't done so already, let's get our New Rear resolution in writing. Let's post it on the mirror, on the 'fridge, or in the car.....anywhere we'll see it every day. At the bottom of the page let's write down our short-term resolution. Here's an example:NEW REAR RESOLUTION: "I will lose 50 pounds of fat by the end of 2005."SHORT-TERM RESOLUTION: "I will exercise 4 times per week until Easter with the goal of losing 1 pound per week (on average). My exercise will be at the gym each Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a 25 minute walk over the weekend."See how much SMARTer it is to create a short-term resolution? The typical New Rear resolution is overwhelming.....lose 50 pounds of fat? Are you kidding? But the short-term resolution is manageable. We can do that! Not only can we do it, but if we do it it'll work. Losing 1 pound of fat each week x 52 weeks in a year means that we achieved our goal!At the end of the short-term resolution (Easter in this example) all we have to do is measure our progress and write up a new short-term goal. It's that easy.Goals and resolutions are a wonderful thing. They help us stay motivated, and they show us the light at the end of the tunnel. So let's make sure we have our own New Rear resolution in place. We can do it!Article Source: http://www.nulife-weightloss.com/articlesTracie Johanson is the founder of Pick Up The Pace, a 30-minute exercise studio for women focusing on fitness, health and nutrition for maximum weight loss. Effective Natural Acne Treatments

Acne is caused by the clogging of the follicle of a skin gland causing a pimple to grow. As a registered nurse, I've learned a lot over the years about acne, acne scars, and acne treatments. By their mid-teens, nearly 35% of teenagers have acne severe enough to require some treatment from a medical professional. Acne vulgaris is most commonly experienced around puberty, typically of the face, shoulders and chest. Most pimples are found on the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders. Several factors have been suggested to influence acne including diet, menstruation, sweating, UV radiation, stress, and occupation. Numerous studies have revealed that acne is not simply a problem of the young: it also afflicts people of many ages, and it affects daily life. Acne is the most common skin disease. As time goes by, more research may help determine just how male and female hormones influence acne and the role diet plays. Experts just can't agree on what causes acne. The cause of acne is really unknown. Check your shampoo to make sure it isn't causing pimples or other breakouts on your forehead. Try not to touch your skin to eliminate possible contamination. Treatment with raw apple cider vinegar will work better on your skin if it isn't already noticeably irritated from acne medicines, acne products or other failed treatment. One treatment method some people have used is applying cornstarch, egg whites or milk of magnesia as a facial mask. For a good acne treatment, that has worked for many, try applying virgin coconut oil daily, but on a small test area first.Popping pimples can cause infection and scarring. A new treatment using red light and blue light has been extremely successful on severe acne. You want to avoid squeezing, pinching, or picking your pimples because it can cause scars or dark spots on the skin. Healed acne leaves scars in some people however, and it isn't easy to predict who will end up with scars after an acne outbreak and who won't. See your skin doctor, dermatologist or dermatological surgeon for the best acne scar treatment for you. Acne scars resulting from loss of tissue are more common than scars resulting from increased tissue formation. The liver sluffs off toxins from bad foods, drinks, drugs and chemicals and sends them through your skin resulting in skin eruptions, acne, pimples and other skin disorders. In any case, no matter what skin or acne treatment you choose, whether it is chemical, drugs, alternative, or natural methods, changing your diet will result in your overall good health! Some alternative doctors recommend eating raw cloves of garlic daily for acne. Drink lots and lots of pure, filtered water. The two most common, sluggish, digestion culprits that affect your skin are not enough water and not enough fiber. Put 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in your smoothies. Eat foods that contain essential fatty acids. Many skin conditions can be converted into healthy skin using natural home remedies. The skin must be regularly cleaned or it'll become cracked or inflamed.Be assured, scientists are constantly looking at new non-invasive ways to treat acne. You should see the results of your acne home treatment remedies with improved skin within just a few days. One should always think about alternative, natural, effective treatment methods to get the best cure or solution to their acne, zits, pimples and blackhead problems. For more information on natural treatments for acne and acne light therapy, go to Helen Hecker R.N.'s http://www.Best-Skin-Solutions.com specializing in acne, pimples, and skin disorders with tips, advice and resources for adults, teens and babies, including information on acne scar treatments
